Joining

Interested in joining the 28th Glasgow (Giffnock) Scout Group?

New members are always really welcome and we are a friendly bunch!

Beavers usually start after their 6th birthday and we have two intakes each year (in August and February). You can register for Beavers in advance (at any age).

There are 2 intakes each year to Cubs (in August and February). Admission to Cubs is normally by progression from Beavers. At present there are  no places in the Cub Packs except for children moving up from Beavers and the waiting list is currently closed.

There is one main intake per year to Scouts and Explorer Scouts (in August) – but there may also be opportunities to join at other times of year. Please ask.

Where possible we always try to accommodate young people who are moving in to the area and transferring from another Scout Group.
